Welcome to JunkOut (the "App"), a device junk cleaning and storage optimization tool developed and operated by JunkOut (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of all users (hereinafter referred to as "you") who access and use the App. This Privacy Policy explains in detail the types of information we may collect, how we use, store and protect such information, as well as your rights regarding your information when you use the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy.

We only collect information that is necessary to fulfill the core functions of the App (including junk file scanning, cleaning, and device performance optimization) and improve your user experience. When you use the App, we may automatically collect certain technical information related to your device to ensure the App operates stably and efficiently. This information includes but is not limited to: device model, brand, operating system version, RAM/ROM capacity, battery status, unique device identifiers (AAID for Android, IDFV for iOS), App launch time, session duration, network connection type (Wi-Fi/cellular), screen resolution, and crash logs. This information is used to troubleshoot technical faults, optimize the App's compatibility with different devices, and enhance overall performance.

1.2 Information Related to Cleaning and Optimization Functions

To provide accurate cleaning and optimization services, the App needs to access and collect certain information related to your device's storage and running status, including but not limited to: type and size of junk files (such as cache files, residual installation packages, and invalid logs generated by other apps), running status of background apps (to identify apps that occupy excessive resources and affect device speed), and storage usage (to display storage occupancy and recommend cleaning solutions). Please note that this information is only used for the purpose of completing cleaning and optimization tasks, and we will not access or collect the content of your personal files (such as photos, videos, documents, and messages).

1.3 Information Voluntarily Provided by You

In specific scenarios, you may choose to provide us with relevant information voluntarily. For example, when you use the App's feedback function to submit suggestions or report problems, you may choose to provide your username or other non-mandatory information to help us better communicate and solve issues. When you participate in in-app optimization surveys or feature experience activities, you may provide information related to your usage habits as required by the activity, which is used to improve the App's functions and services.

1.4 Information Collected by Third-Party Services

The App may integrate third-party tools or services to enhance user experience, such as analytics tools (e.g., Firebase Analytics) to help us understand user usage behavior and optimize the App's functions, and advertising services (e.g., AdMob) to display relevant and non-intrusive ads. These third parties may collect your information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control the collection and use of information by third parties, and we recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of these third parties before using the App's related functions.

2. Purpose of Using Your Information

We use the collected information only for the following legitimate and necessary purposes:

To operate and maintain the core functions of the App, including completing junk file scanning and cleaning, optimizing device running speed, and releasing storage space.

3. Storage and Protection of Information

3.1 Storage Details

Your information is stored on secure cloud servers managed by JunkOut's designated cloud service provider, located in the region where the App's main service is provided. If cross-border data transmission is involved, we will strictly comply with relevant data protection laws and regulations and take necessary measures to ensure the legality and security of data transmission. We will retain your information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable laws and regulations. Once the storage period expires, we will take secure measures (such as permanent deletion or anonymization) to process your information to ensure it is no longer identifiable.

3.2 Security Measures

We attach great importance to the security of your information and have adopted a series of technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction of your information, including but not limited to: encrypting data during transmission and storage using industry-standard encryption protocols (such as SSL/TLS); setting strict access control permissions for user information, only authorizing relevant personnel who have passed security verification to access it; conducting regular security audits, vulnerability scans, and employee privacy protection training to continuously improve information security protection capabilities. Please note that no data transmission or storage method is 100% secure. We will do our best to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should also take appropriate measures to protect the security of your device and account (such as setting a screen lock, not sharing device access rights with others).

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes without your explicit consent. We may share your information with third parties only in the following circumstances:

With third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App or providing services (such as cloud storage providers, analytics companies). 7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in business practices, legal requirements, or App functions. When we make material changes to the Privacy Policy, we will notify you through prominent means within the App (such as a pop-up notification) at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The updated Privacy Policy will take effect on the effective date stated at the top of the document. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

8. Miscellaneous

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the region where JunkOut provides its main services. If any provision of this Privacy Policy is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
